F.A.C.E.S Educational Program (Friends Accepting Classmates with Epilepsy and Seizures) F.A.C.E.S. is a 45 minute PowerPoint presentation providing information on Epilepsy Awareness ranging from what is a seizure and when is it Epilepsy, myths and facts about Epilepsy, how to treat someone with Epilepsy, and First Aid information when someone is having a seizure. Epilepsy is the oldest, documented neurological medical condition, even referenced in the Bible. People were thought to be possessed, when actually they were having seizures. Epilepsy is everywhere: 50 million people worldwide are estimated to be living with Epilepsy. Our mission is to create public awareness and help those living with Epilepsy, F.A.C.E.S. educates with compassion, one classroom at a time.
